While many books will tell you that the St. Marks River
is easy to paddle round trip from Newport, the current is swift in areas.
Keep this in mind when you head upstream. Its not too bad, but be prepared
to paddle against some current before reaching springs area. Also on this
trip, got pictures of the famous St. Marks Sea Cows. |
