Shell Mound - Cedar Key, FlApril 7, 2002. Just another sunny day in Florida, not much to report. It was windy, so I turn north from the launch site and paddle behind the keys. Due to low tide and the oyster bars that are very numerous, I crossed over into the Gulf and paddled back to the launch site. Very windy and not much fun, but this area is so shallow, not much risk. |
