Santa Fe River and Ichetucknee Springs State Park

Launch from the boat ramp under US 129 Bridge.  Traveled upstream until reaching the Ichetucknee River. Enter the Ichetucknee river and paddle under the old railroad bridge and US 27 into the State Park. From there paddle past the landings and tubing launch points to the spring head. You can not paddle into the springs directly, but there is a boardwalk that you can take to see the springs. Round trip is about 18 miles. [Note: once you cross under the US 27 bridge going upstream, you have entered the Ichetucknee River State Park and must follow all park rules.]
