Santa Fe River

River Rise

The Santa Fe River travels underground for approximately 3-4 miles winding its way underneath River Rise Preserve State Park. This underground travel forms the natural bridge which was traveled by Spanish explorers, Indians and settlers alike. Where the river resurfaces again is known as the River Rise

Paddling from US 441 to River Rise is about 2.5 miles one way.
